I have a love/hate relationship with self-tanners. I need them in order to bare my transparent white legs to the world, but I hate the smell and that it takes so many days to get a decent color. Enter my new favorite product. NAYY!!!!! (not affiliated yada, yada) I bought this new Jergens product a couple of weeks ago and finally decided to try it.
I'm shocked and amazed at how quickly it works. The color started to develop in about a 1/2 hour or so. After one application I can bare my legs to the world. 2 applications are better. The lotion goes on evenly (does need to be rubbed in) For once my feet have even color. I'm more than impressed.
The negatives that I can live with:
- The bottle is smaller. BUT, once I get to the color I want (2 days vs several with other tanners) I can maintain with the other Jergens or L'Oreal which both are in bigger bottles and are better values.
- The smell is not great, but it is an improvement over the original Jergens. (which I hate) I just use it at night and by morning the smell is gone, even before my shower.
- I give this a 5-star rating...................

I'm gonna have to give that a try. I'm pasty!
Ditto, I've already gone through one bottle of my self-tanner and it's not even summer yet!
Thank so much for this product review! I rarely wear panty hose (even in winter) and hate that my legs look so pale. Combine that with my constant ranting to my daughters about the dangers of tanning, and this is a must try for us!
My DH says I 'glow in the dark' ! He's not wrong LOL...I stay out of the sun if at all possible, I don't tan, I burn. Maybe I ought to give it a try too.
I need to try this stuff. I used to date a guy who said that I gave off a luminous white glow in the dark. Note I said "used to date." Anything to get rid of the pasty white legs.
Claire, BTW, thank you for the sleeve suggestion for my dress - I morphed your suggestion with my original idea and came up with just the right sleeve.
Hey Claire! :)
Just wanted to stop by and say Thank you SO MUCH for all of your encouraging comments on my posts about the sewing lessons! This is really a huge experience in my life right now, and it means so much to be able to share it and know that someone else is interested and excited and cares too! :)
Thanks for the heads up on this one. I, too, can't stand the smell of most self-tanners. This year I am trying Neutrogena Build a Tan and the smell isn't as offensive as last year's Jergens. I'll have to check out this one.
